Manchester United one of the football giants across the europe, nicknamed "The RED Devils". Well everybody knows Manchester United and what the club has achieved over the several years especially during Sir Alex Era. Founded as Newton Health LYR Football Club back in 1878, the club changed it's name to Manchester United in 1902 and moved to Old Trafford in 1910. At Manchester United greatness is more than a word,it’s a way of being, it’s about going further, doing more, respect, honour, never settling for ordinary, inspiring people, our legacy, walking with giants and lifting the prize.

Manchester United have won 20 league titles, most of any English club, 11 FA Cups, 4 League Cups(Capital One) and 20 FA Community Shields. The club has also won three UEFA Champions League title(1968,1999 and 2008), UEFA Super Cup, Intercontinental Cup and FIFA Club World Cup. During the season of 1998-99 the club achieved the treble becoming the first in English football history by winning all the three major titles including Premier League, the FA Cup and UEFA Champions League.

The atmosphere in the stadium is extraordinary with no words to describe for the cheering done by the fans during the match and their long lasting support until the end. Ryan Giggs


"Ryan Joseph Giggs" the most decorated footballer in the football history. He made his professional debut for the club in 1991 and spent the next 23 years in the Manchester United first team. He was named as assistant manager under Moyes' permanent replacement, Louis Van Gaal, on 19 May 2014; he retired from playing the same day.

George Best


George Best (22 May 1946 – 25 November 2005) was a Northern Irish professional footballer who played as a winger for Manchester United and the Northern Ireland national team. In 1968 he won the European Cup with Manchester United, and was named the European Footballer of the Year and FWA Footballer of the Year. The Irish Football Association described him as the "greatest player to ever pull on the green shirt of Northern Ireland".
Born and brought up in Belfast, Best began his club career in England with Manchester United, with the scout who had spotted his talent at the age of 15 sending a telegram to manager Matt Busby which read: "I think I've found you a genius." After making his debut for United aged 17, he scored 179 goals from 470 appearances over 11 years, and was the club's top goalscorer in the league for five consecutive seasons.
One of the greatest dribblers of all time, his playing style combined pace, skill, balance, feints, two-footedness, goalscoring and the ability to beat defenders. Best unexpectedly quit United in 1974 at age 27.

Bobby Charlton


Sir Robert "BobbyCharlton CBE (born 11 October 1937) is an English former football player, regarded as one of the greatest midfielders of all time, and an essential member of the England team who won the World Cup in 1966, the year he also won the Ballon d'Or. He played almost all of his club football at Manchester United, where he became renowned for his attacking instincts and passing abilities from midfield and his ferocious long-range shot. He was also well known for his fitness and stamina. He was cautioned only twice in his career; once against Argentina in the 1966 World Cup, and once in a league match against Chelsea. 
Born in Ashington, Northumberland, Charlton made his debut for the Manchester United first-team in 1956, and over the next two seasons gained a regular place in the team, during which time he survived the Munich air disaster of 1958. After helping United to win the Football League in 1965, he won a World Cup medal with England in 1966 and another Football League title with United the following year. In 1968, he captained the Manchester United team that won the European Cup, scoring two goals in the final to help his team be the first English side to win the competition. 
He left Manchester United to become manager of Preston North End for the 1973–74 season.

Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro



Cristiano Ronaldo has a combination that makes him a unique player. On that level scoring goals day after day WOW!. It's a lot of work he works very hard, he pushes his own limits and you can see the results. He's finishing ability and his magical touch simply incredible. In 2003 he signed for Manchester United and was given the iconic "No. 7" shirt before moving to Real Madrid(currently) in 2009 for a record transfer.

Mesut Ozil: "He's a goal machine, always want to score more goals".
Gareth Bale: "Even in training you see him how much concentrated he is on every aspect of his game".
Sir Alex: "Ronaldo huh!, he could play for QPR or any other team. He will not stop scoring hat-ricks!".
Ryan Giggs: "From coming to United as rare talent he left United as a complete modern day footballer".
Gary Neville: "Its utterly difficult to stop somebody like that because the counter attacking speed of him, the power is absolutely phenomenal. You marked  him on the ground he will do you in the air, if you stop him from going on his left he will go on his right, if you stop him shooting from the distance he will dribble in the box, He really poles every single problem he needs to poles".

As a United fan I really wish to see last few years of his career at Old Trafford. 



Paul Scholes



"Paul Scholes, how about that". The most decorated English footballer of all time, who could score goals from outside the box, and one of the most successful footballers in history joined Manchester United in 1993 and continue providing his services until 2012. "Scholesy" was seriously the long range specialist during his time at Manchester United. 

















David Beckham


David Robert Joseph Beckham is an English former professional footballer. He played for Manchester Unitedwhere he made his first-team debut in 1992 aged 17. With United, he won the Premier League title six times, the FA Cup twice, and the UEFA Champions League in 1999.







Roy Keane



Roy Maurice Keane is an Irish football manager and former professional football player. He is the joint most successful Irish footballer of all time, having won 19 major trophies, 17 of which came at Manchester United, in his club career. He is currently the assistant manager of the Republic of Ireland national football team.
In his 18-year-long playing career, he played for Cobh Ramblers, Nottingham Forest, and Manchester United, before ending his career at Celtic. Keane was a dominating defensive midfielder, noted for his aggressive and highly competitive style of play, an attitude that helped him excel as captain of Manchester United from 1997 until his departure in 2005. Joining the club in 1993, Keane helped United achieve a sustained period of success during his twelve year tenure at the club. He then signed for Celtic but retired as a player less than a year later.

Peter Scmeichel



"...and he extends and grows even bigger than he is".Peter Boleslaw Schmeichel is a Danish former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper, and was voted the IFFHS World's Best Goalkeeper in 1992 and 1993. He is best remembered for his most successful years at English club Manchester United, whom he captained to the 1999 UEFA Champions League to complete the Treble
Schmeichel was famous for his intimidating physique (he is 1.91 m (6 ft 3 in) tall and weighed about 105 kg (16 st 7 lb) during his playing days, and wore specially made size XXXL football shirts. A fierce competitor, he was known for his loud, unstinting criticism of mistakes he believed the defenders in front of him committed. Unusually for a goalkeeper, Schmeichel scored 11 goals during his career, including one for the national team.

Wayne Rooney


"It's an incredible rise to stardom. At age 17 you are more likely to get a call from Michael Jackson then Sven Goran Eriksson". Wayne Rooney moved to Manchester United in the 2004 summer transfer window. Probably the only legend currently playing for Mancheter United, not taken into consideration of his recent performances. There was a time when "Ronaldo-Rooney" pair was considered deadly!

Adnan Januzaj



Adnan Januzaj (Belgian) who plays as a winger for Manchester United joined in 2011 at the age of 16 and made his debut against Wigan Athletic on 11th August 2013 in  the Community Shield. He was allocated the legendary No. 11 shirt of Ryan Giggs. Back in 2013-14 season under Moyes he played some good football and clearly indicated himself as one of the future of Manchester United.





Donald Love


Donald Love (Scottish) plays as a defender for Manchester United. He joined Manchester United Academy at the age of 8 and made his debut against Sunderland on 13th February 2016.








Joe Riley



Joe Riley (English) plays as a defender for Manchester United and made his debut against Shrewsbury Town in the 6th round of F.A. Cup(2015-16).














Nick Powell


Nick Powell (English) plays as a midfielder for Manchester United. He joined Manchester United on 2nd July 2012 and made his debut on 21st July 2012 in a pre-season friendly against Ajax.













Jesse Lingard


Jesse Lingard (English) plays as a midfielder for Manchester United. He joined Manchester United's youth academy at the age of seven and made his debut in the first match of 2014-15 Premier League season at home against Swansea City. He is certainly famous for his "Dab" goal celebration. 











Andreas Pereira


Andreas Pereira (Brazilian) plays as a midfielder for Manchester United. He signed for Manchester United in November 2011 after Sir Alex paid a visit to his impressing performance in Manchester United Premier Cup and made his debut against MK Dons on 15th March 2015. He had given a notable performance in the recently conducted FIFA-U 20 World Cup where his team lost in the final.






Guillermo Varela


Guillermo Varela (Uruguayan) plays as a Right-Back for Manchester United. On 7 June, Manchester United announced they had reached an agreement to sign Varela. He made his debut on 5 December 2015 as a half-time substitute in a goalless Premier League draw against West Ham United at Old Trafford.




Paddy Mcnair



Paddy Mcnair (Northern Irish) plays as a Centre-Back for Manchester United.  He signed for the club in 2011, having impressed the club scouts. Mcnair made his senior debut for United on 27 September 2014 against West Ham United in a 2–1 victory in the Premier League at Old Trafford.









Cameron Borthwick-Jackson


Cameron Borthwick-Jackson (English) plays as a Left-Back for Manchester United. Borthwick-Jackson joined Manchester United's Academy at the age of 6 in July 2003.  On 7 November 2015, he was named on the first-team substitutes, bench for the first time against West Bromwich Albion; he came in the 76th minute for his senior debut.








Luke Shaw


Luke Shaw (English) plays as a Left-Back for Manchester United.  In 2014, Shaw was signed by Manchester United for £30 million, then a world record transfer fee for a teenager. Shaw made his competitive debut for United on 27 September 2014, playing the entirety of a 2–1 home victory against West Ham United.





Memphis Depay


Memphis Depay (Dutch) plays as a Left-Winger for Manchester United. On 7 May 2015, PSV confirmed that they had agreed a deal with Manchester United over Depay's transfer, subject to a medical. Depay made his Premier League debut on 8 August as the season opened with a 1–0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford






Anthony Martial


"Ohh Yes, Welcome to Manchester Family " that were the words said by Alan Smith from the commentary box when Anthony Martial scored a  debut goal against Liverpool during his first appearance as Reds on 12th September 2015. Anthony Martial (French) plays as a Forward for Manchester United who completed a move to Manchester United for £36 million, potentially rising to £58 million, on a four-year contract with the option of another year. This was the highest transfer fee paid for a teenager, breaking the previous record for Luke Shaw 






Marcus Rashford


Marcus Rashford (English) plays as a Forward for Manchester United. Rashford made his first-team debut for Manchester United on 25 February 2016 in the 5–1 win against Midtjylland in the second leg of the round of 32 of the UEFA Europa League. Rashford was a late addition to the starting line up after an injury to Anthony Martial in the warm up and scored two second half goals. Rashford's goals made him Manchester United's youngest ever scorer in European competition beating a record previously held by George BestRashford made his Premier League debut three days later on 28 February against Arsenal. He scored twice and assisted another in a 3–2 home victory. 

Paul Scholes : "Rashford is no surprise to me at all. I’ve seen him play since he was 14 or 15 and then in Paul McGuiness’s side. You’ve not seen any yet, but he hits free kicks in a dipping fashion, almost the way Cristiano Ronaldo does."




Timothy Fosu-Mensah


Timothy Fosu-Mensah (Dutch) plays as Centre-Back or Full-Back for Manchester United. He signed for Manchester United in 2014 and made his debut at home against Arsenal on 28th February 2016. 




Will Keane


Will Keane (English) plays as a Forward for Manchester United. He has been with Manchester United since the age of 11 and made his debut on 31st December 2011 against Burnley.
